Dr. Khinda is a double board-certified psychiatrist in Child & Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatry. She completed her medical training at Ross University School of Medicine. Upon completion of medical studies, Dr. Khinda spent 2 years in medical research heavily focused on addiction treatment. She went on to complete Psychiatry residency training at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s and Roosevelt Hospitals. She completed Fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Mount Sinai Hospital, where she served as Chief Fellow in her final year.
As an adult, child and adolescent psychiatrist, Dr. Khinda has extensive experience treating a wide array of mental health issues throughout the lifespan. She has received extensive training in addressing Obsessive Compulsive and Tic Disorders. Since completing training, Dr. Khinda has served as the Medical Director of Child Partial Hospitalization services at Trinitas Regional Medical Center, and more recently as the Psychiatric Director of Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient services at High Focus Centers in Paramus, NJ.
