Talkiatry is experiencing tremendous growth due to patient demand and is seeking an Enrollment Specialist.

 

Position summary:

As an Enrollment Specialist you are responsible for all aspects of the credentialing and re-credentialing processes for psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners with our contracted insurance payors. This is accomplished by using our innovative software platform that stores our provider information and allows you to assign and request providers to complete tasks. Talkiatry enables you to track your work through software solutions, complete and manage the status of payor online applications and CAQH database.    

In support of our mission to improve access to high quality psychiatric care and behavioral health, our Enrollment Specialist collaborates with our, recruiting, operations, and clinical teams for the benefit of our patients, psychiatrists, and insurance partners.

Essential Functions:

  • High integrity. You represent Talkiatry’s mission, vision, and values with infectious enthusiasm.

  • Detail oriented. Compiles and maintains current and accurate data for all providers in database.
  • You act with a sense of urgency and update tracking tools and systems as needed.
  • Proactively escalates through clear communication delays, barriers, and progress.
  • Completes provider credentialing and recredentialing applications; monitor progress and follow-up as needed
  • Maintains copies of current state licenses, DEA certificates, malpractice coverage, board certifications and any other required credentialing documents for all providers.
  • Ensures practice addresses are current with health plans, agencies, and other entities.
  • Accurately navigates detailed application processes. Ability to manually and electronically complete application requirements with accuracy on first submission. 
  • Exhibit excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to provide clear verbal and written detailed instructions to providers and status updates to collaborating teams.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to handle sensitive data and maintain confidentiality of provider information.
  • Two years’ experience in insurance enrollment credentialing.
  • Two years’ experience using and populating the CAQH database and Medicare credentialing.
  • 2 years multi-site practice operations experience.
  • Ability to develop and manage project plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills. You exude positivity, a high level of organizational knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time and workload management skill, ability to prioritize, work independently, high attention to detail, multi-task, and meet established deadlines.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in e-Clinical Works and with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bachelor s Degree required, Master of Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or Public Health degree a plus.
