Esther Bilenkis, DO
Dr. Esther Bilenkis is a board-certified psychiatrist that holds a position of Staff Psychiatrist at Talkiatry. Dr. Bilenkis believes in using an integrative approach, encompassing various treatment modalities for a more holistic and personalized treatment plan.
Dr. Bilenkis received her medical degree from New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency in psychiatry at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Washington, DC. During that time, she was also involved in advocacy work through Washington Psychiatric Society, serving as chair of the Career, Leadership Mentorship committee. Dr. Bilenkis is passionate about Integrative Psychiatry and has received training from University of Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine.
In addition to general psychiatry, Dr. Bilenkis also trained in Psychodynamic Therapy at the Washington School of Psychiatry. She completed her undergraduate studies at Stony Brook University. While having treated a wide variety of patients, her primary clinical focus has been in treating young adults with depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
