Michelle Jones has a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy/counseling from a regionally accredited university (CACREP accredited) and has systematic training as a marriage and family therapist. Michelle has been practicing since 2019. She collaborates with individuals, couples, and families and has experience working in diverse clinical settings to include inpatient (psychiatric hospitals), outpatient (private practice, mental health clinic), community agency (not for profit) providing individual and group therapy (process and psychoeducation). Michelle sees clients presenting with post-traumatic stress disorder and, trauma, mood disorders (Bipolar, cyclothymia, major depressive disorder, seasonal affective disorder), anxiety disorders, and phase of life changes (grief and loss, career, retirement, empty nest).

Her diverse background afforded her the skills to tailor treatment to meet the specific needs of clients using an integrative approach drawing from psychotherapeutic approaches such as Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Collaborative Language Therapy, Structural Therapy, Contextual Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Multicultural Counseling. Michelle embraces diversity and inclusion and works to provide culturally responsive treatment.
