Rachael Nguyen, LMHC
Rachael has been practicing as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor for about 3 years working in a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient care as well as in primary care offices. She not only utilizes her education and training but her lived experience to assist individuals with creating the life they want to live and/or make positive changes in their life. Rachael has worked directly with clients of various demographics, living with a variety mental health conditions.
Rachael utilizes an eclectic and integrative approach with a foundation in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) and Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) rooted in trauma-informed and person-centered care. She has experience working with a variety of presentations including anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, mood disorders, trauma, and the integration of mental health and substance use concerns.
Working with Rachael, treatment is tailored to the individual, as there is great effort put into choosing the treatment modality that fits the individual's personal struggles and concerns presented. Clients often give Rachael feedback that her approach is genuine, kind, and effective.
