Caitlin Tillberg, MD
Dr. Caitlin Tillberg is a board-certified psychiatrist. She has a BA in musicology and cognitive science from Oberlin College and attended medical school at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut. She completed her general adult psychiatry residency at Duke University.
Dr. Tillberg practices patient-centered and trauma-informed care, valuing patient autonomy and collaborative decision-making. She recognizes the burden that intersecting oppressions can place on mental health and overall well-being.
She believes therapy is an important component of treatment - equally important as medication management, or more - and aims to work together with you to make a treatment plan that is realistic and will fit into your life.
In addition to treatment for the most common mental health conditions, Dr. Tillberg has a niche working with people with complicated relationships with their bodies, whether due to history of disordered eating (including binge-eating and adult ARFID), gender dysphoria, chronic illness/disability, or trauma. She welcomes LGBTQ+ patients, including trans and non-binary adults. She also enjoys working with autistic/neurodivergent adults (whether diagnosed or seeking autism evaluation), as well as OCD.
