Ellie McCormick, LMHC

Ellie McCormick is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a variety of experience working in the mental health field. Ellie has worked with clients of various demographics as well as wide range of mental health conditions. Ellie attended undergraduate school in Gettysburg, PA, and graduate school in Seattle, WA, including an internship with the King County Department of Public Defense, helping those involuntarily hospitalized with acute diagnoses. They love learning and growing along with their clients.

Ellie has been practicing for 4 years as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, heavily focusing on the LGBTQ+ population. They have extensive experience with transgender and non-binary individuals, as well as diagnoses such as Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, and PTSD.

Ellie relies strongly on a person-centered approach, working collaboratively with clients on goals and directions for therapy. Ellie strongly believes clients are the experts on themselves, and their role is more like that of a guide.
