Emily Payma, LCSW
Emily Payma is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has a warm, non-judgmental approach to therapy and provides person-centered and strength-based services to her clients. She has years of experience working with clients who are experiencing Anxiety, Depression, Grief and Loss, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as other mental health concerns. As a licensed clinical social worker, Emily believes that therapy is most impactful when it is tailored to each person’s unique needs and concerns. She utilizes a combination of somatic therapy, motivational interviewing, and narrative therapy in her work.
Emily’s approach is geared toward helping clients acquire the necessary skills to meet and maintain their goals. Emily earned her Master’s of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan in 2012 and is licensed in both Texas and Florida. She has worked in a variety of different therapy settings including home-based services, hospitals, private practice, and non-profit organizations. Through this range of experience, Emily understands how important it is to provide a safe and caring environment in which clients feel truly accepted and supported.
