Kate Niewiarowicz, LMHC
Kate Niewiarowicz is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has experience working with young adults and adults with a wide range of mental health struggles. Kate has over 3 years’ experience working in a hospital setting treating serious mental illness (SMI), as well as private practice experience. Kate received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Iona University in New York.
Kate’s approach to therapy is working as a team with her clients to form a genuine therapeutic relationship in a supportive, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment. Kate specializes in treating anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem, women’s issues, and supporting clients through various life transitions.
Kate utilizes many different treatment techniques to provide personalized treatment which include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral therapy (DBT), strength-based therapy, solution focused therapy, and positive psychology. Kate will work alongside her clients to assist in developing coping skills, techniques, and solutions to help reach her clients goals.
