Dr. Mendez obtained his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. He subsequently completed his Psychiatry residency training at the same institution, UT Medical School in Houston. Dr. Mendez has extensive training in the field and is board certified in Adult Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. After professional training, Dr. Mendez has had vast experience of 15 years primarily in the outpatient setting including ample experience with telemedicine services to patients. He has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating adult patients dealing with attention deficit disorders and a wide spectrum of adjustment and anxiety disorders. What you can expect in a first visit

Typical follow-up visits are approximately 20-30 minutes in  length. Cesar De Paz, MD

Dr. De Paz received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX, and has been practicing for 9 years. He completed his psychiatric residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship training at the University of Texas Medical Branch. After completing training, he worked at the Center for Health Care Services in San Antonio, TX. He worked with special needs children and adults who required the highest level of care both behaviorally and medically. He then continued his treatment of children and young adults at CommuniCare Health Center also in San Antonio. He served as Director of Behavioral Health for CommuniCare for 4 years. Dr. De Paz completed his undergraduate studies in Psychology and Biology at the University of Houston in Houston, TX. While having treated a wide variety of patients, his primary clinical focus has been the treatment of ADHD in children and adults, and working with special needs children and adults who may have Autism Spectrum Disorder or other Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities. Annamaria Moldovan, MD

Dr. Annamaria Moldovan completed her medical education at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj, Romania. She completed a Residency program in Family Medicine at the same institution and was Board certified in the specialty. After coming to the US, she completed the Residency program in Psychiatry at the VCU-Medical College of Virginia. She is board certified in Adult Psychiatry. She became interested in the in-depth study of human development and behavior and enrolled in a program called "Modern Perspectives on Psychodynamic Psychotherapy " at the Washington Psychoanalytic Institute in D.C. When it comes to therapeutic interventions, Dr. Moldovan approaches the bio psychosocial treatment model, where the integration of psycho pharmacology with psychotherapy leads to the best outcomes. Prior to joining Talkiatry, she served as the lead physician for the Program of Assertive Community Treatment in Richmond, Va, while also mentoring psychiatry residents from VCU in the psychodynamic psychotherapy modality. After moving to Providence, RI, she worked at the RIH Department of Psychiatry, in the inpatient and outpatient settings, being awarded the title of Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Later, she worked for the Steward Physicians Group at the Morton Hospital in Taunton, MA, where she had the privilege of working in the Inpatient Geriatric Unit, as well as in the outpatient clinic. She is excited to join Talkiatry, beginning a new chapter in her career. Polly Lybrook, MD

Dr Lybrook attended Indiana University for her undergraduate and medical degrees and has been a board-certified practicing psychiatrist since 1993. She has work experience in community mental health, hospital settings, and student health, but spent the majority of her career in private practice treating adult patients with a range of psychiatric disorders. Ernesto Gonzalez, MD

Dr. Ernesto Gonzalez is a board certified adult psychiatrist. He completed his undergraduate training at Yale University and received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed his residency training at the Cambridge Health Alliance/Harvard Medical School Adult Psychiatry Training Program.
