Kristen’s use of active listening, unconditional positive regard, and rapport building were key strategies while working with her students.

Kristen uses skills from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and principles and practices from Dialectical Behavior Therapy. While each treatment plan is always designed with the individual in mind, the intervention strategies explored and applied are an eclectic approach using evidence-based treatment.
