Dawn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. She has over 18 years of experience in the field of mental health including Outpatient, Community Mental Health and Assertive Community Treatment.
Dawn works with adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem and PTSD using an eclectic approach to suit your individual needs. Other modalities used are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and Positive Psychology. Dawn is easy to talk to and her number one priority is to help provide a safe, open, non-judgmental place to share your personal experiences. She focuses on providing the skills to help manage your symptoms while working in tandem with your psychiatrist to provide the best outcome for you.
Dawn received her Master of Social Work degree at Eastern Michigan University and is Certified as a Clinical Trauma Professional. While in Michigan, Dawn worked extensively with the Community Mental Health. Initially, she worked as an advocate working with clients who were diagnosed with a serious and persistent mental illness or with a duel diagnosis. She facilitated psychoeducation groups, provided crisis intervention and case management services.
At Henry Ford Allegiance Health, Dawn played an integral role in implementing the integration between physical and mental health. Combining a Psychiatric Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic with a Primary Care Practice utilizing General Medical Education Resident Psychiatrists. Moving on to Florida, Dawn worked at the Marion County Jail assessing suicidal risk of inmates and provided brief supportive therapy. Ultimately, Dawn began her own virtual private practice continuing her
passion of helping others find the skills to begin to live again regardless of their imperfections.
Giulia Ferrero, LCSW

Giulia Ferrero earned her Bachelors of Arts and Sciences in Sociology, Ethnic Studies, and Women & Gender Studies at the University of Colorado in Boulder, and received her Master in Social Work from Columbia University with an emphasis in children, youth, and families. Giulia is licensed by the State of Texas as a master social worker (LMSW), and is dedicated to helping people who struggle with mental health concerns. She believes that change happens when people are given the support they need to draw on their own strengths and realize their potential to live fulfilling, happy lives. Giulia advocates a holistic approach when working with her clients and incorporates various treatment styles including, but not limited to, cognitive-behavioral, family systems, solution-focused, and psychodynamic.
During her graduate program, Giulia worked extensively with children, utilizing play therapy techniques alongside a trauma-focussed treatment approach. She specializes in individual therapy with an emphasis on issues such as PTSD, autism, stress, anxiety and depression, grief and loss, women’s issues, family/relationship issues, life transitions, and personal growth. Giulia especially enjoys working with young adults and is committed to working with each person in a confidential, effective manner to help the individual accomplish his/her/their goals.

Maria Fiore is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has experience with a broad range of people and situations. Maria attended school at the University of Houston - Victoria, and practices in Texas. She continues to study and research in order to bring the best quality of care to each individual that she works with.
In the time that Maria has been a therapist, she has worked directly with clients needing intense inpatient care, clients in an educational setting, and clients in various outpatient settings. She believes that every individual is unique and the care they receive should reflect that. Maria will work with you to develop therapeutic goals so you can grow into being the best version of yourself.
She bases her treatment approach on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with elements of mindfulness and solutions focused therapy. Outside of work, Maria enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time in nature.
Bethanne Folks, LPC

Beth Folks is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and a Certified Co-Occurring Disorder Diplomate. She has 25 years of experience helping clients recognize their inner strength. Her style of therapy utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Beth tailors each treatment plan to fit the client's individual needs and encourages them to take an active role in every step of the journey. She strives to create a safe environment where the client feels they can speak openly.
Beth most recently worked in a private practice for a psychiatrist as a psychotherapist via tele-health serving adults diagnosed with mental health issues. She has also worked in a residential setting where she supervised the care of clients with mental health and addiction issues. Bath worked closely with Psychiatrists and is familiar with most types of medications used currently.
Beth obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in psychology from Ursinus College in Collegeville PA. She then earned a Master of Science Degree at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, PA. In addition, she procured a Post Masters Certification in Forensic treatment at Chestnut Hill College.
Carly Frix-Rhyne, LPC

Carly Frix-Rhyne is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), in both Texas and Arkansas, who has extensive experience working in the mental health field. She has worked directly with clients of various demographics, living with a variety of mental health conditions. Carly attended undergraduate and graduate school in her hometown of Texarkana, Texas at Texas A&M University - Texarkana. She completed her practicum and internship working as a therapist in therapeutic foster, with children, teens, foster parents, and biological families.
Carly has been practicing for 7 years as a LPC, focusing on individuals working to cope with trauma, stressful life events, anxiety, depression, and issues coping with and communicating their own needs. Carly has worked for community mental health agencies, non-profit agencies, and private practice organization. Much of Carly’s past work involves providing therapy services to children, teens, and adults who survived abuse/trauma.
Carly enjoys working with clients of all ages and with a variety of different presenting mental health needs. She uses different techniques including cognitive behavioral approaches and attachment-based approaches, while maintaining a person-centered theoretical orientation with all clients. Carly utilizes a range of therapeutic tools in hopes of providing clients with practical skills they can begin using immediately. Kayla is a dedicated therapist with a robust educational background and extensive experience in the field of psychology. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University and completed a Master of Science at Nova Southeastern University.
During her internship at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center, Kayla worked within inpatient psychiatric units, gaining valuable experience in crisis management and acute psychiatric care.
Kayla has a particular interest in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. She brings empathy, understanding, and a client-centered approach to her practice, ensuring that each individual feels heard and supported on their journey to mental wellness.
Outside of their professional life, Kayla enjoys spending quality time with family and her two dogs. Whether hiking or relaxing by the beach, she cherishes these moments of connection and tranquility.
Cassandra Garcia-Lozano, LPC

Cassandra Lozano, LPC, LCDC is located in Texas. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of Texas-Brownsville. Following with obtaining her master’s degree in counseling and guidance from University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. She has10 years of experience in the addictions field and 7 years in mental health, working with her local mental health authority for the past 8 years. She has dedicated her career to specializing in addictive disorders, ADHD, individuals struggling mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, and life transitions.
Cassandra works with both adults and adolescents and is a strong ally of the LGBTQ community and Latinx communities. Her therapeutic approach is eclectic in nature, and client centered. She collaborates with her clients, meeting them where they are and helping them find personalized solutions to achieve their goals and become their best selves. She utilizes a combination of Motivational Interview approaches, CBT, Solution-Focused counseling and DBT. She ensures that clients are fully aware of their treatment goals and will work collaboratively to facilitate meeting their needs and finding meaning in life and solutions to their current issues.

Myleka Garnett is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Myleka attended Baruch College in New York City, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree, along with receiving her Master of Arts degree in Psychology from Brandman University in Monterey, California.
While working towards her goal to become a licensed Therapist, Myleka completed 3000 supervised clinical hours. Myleka has been a part of the Mental Health field since 2016. Myleka has experience working with clients of all ages, backgrounds mental and physical health concerns. Myleka has worked in school settings (elementary, high school and college) and a primary care physician office as an on-site Mental Health Therapist.
Myleka’s main goal is to build rapport and to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space for all to feel comfortable when expressing how they feel, no matter what the topic of discussion may be. Bridgette Hathaway, LCSW

Bridgette K. Hathaway, LCSW holds the position of clinical therapist at Talkiatry. She is board-certified in clinical social work. She has been practicing for over 5 years. Ms. Hathaway’s practice focuses on individual psychotherapy. Typically, she offers this in conjunction with solution-focused motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy, in 60-minute visits.
She received her bachelor's degree in liberal arts with a focus in behavioral neurobiology and women's studies from Harpur College at Binghamton University, and her master's degree in social work at the College of Community and Public Affairs at Binghamton University. Additionally, Ms. Hathaway studied abroad in Blantyr, Malawi, Africa completing an Asset-Based Community Development program promoting social-emotional wellbeing for youth. After completing training, she returned and worked in her local community, Binghamton, NY, in myriad roles. Paul Hogate, LCSW

Mr. Hogate has worked in a variety of clinical settings over the past 20 years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Professional Counselor. A key role held was Outpatient Director in a large community behavioral health center in New Jersey. In this role, Mr. Hogate clinically supervised 3 programs and 25 therapists providing behavioral health services to nearly 5,000 individuals and families annually. In addition, Mr. Hogate has maintained a private counseling practice part-time from 2001 to 2019 and full-time from 2019 to 2022.
Mr. Hogate has served as an Adjunct Professor in Psychology at Rowan University from 2013-2019. Mr. Hogate has a Master of Social Work from Rutgers University and a Master of Psychology from LaSalle University.
Mr. Hogate's clinical style is relational and authentic. He uses practical experience and clinical knowledge in an effective, personal manner to assist individuals, couples and families to identify and attain clinical goals.

Samantha Iannuzzi, LMHC

Samantha Iannuzzi is a licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in grief and bereavement. Samantha specialized in trauma and loss in her graduate program at Pace University. It was there, where she learned the importance of talking about the inevitable and the uniqueness of each bereaved individual’s experience.
Before joining Talkiatry, she was both an intern and Bereavement Counselor at Calvary Hospital, where she provided both individual and group support to bereaved members of New York’s five boroughs. Samantha is experienced working with both adults and young adults. Samantha provides a safe space for all her clients where they can be heard, validated, and supported in their individual process. Samantha also provides psychoeducation, coping strategies and explores ways to navigate life changes.
In addition to her clinical work, Samantha has presented to many community organizations, engaged in outreach for crisis intervention and lectured for informative clinical courses. Samantha’s experience and expertise with death, cumulative loss and trauma responses due to loss helps provide clients with effective treatment and a space where there experience will never be disenfranchised.

Mariah Ide is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who has a passion for helping people see their true potential. Mariah earned her master's degree in mental health counseling from Stetson University in Deland, Florida and also graduated with a bachelor's degrees in psychology and criminology from the University of Florida located in Gainesville, Florida.
Mariah has experience with children, adolescents and adults. Mariah has worked in school, hospital, and outpatient based settings. She has clinical practice experience with mood disorders, self esteem issues, gender identity, crisis intervention, family issues and trauma, with a certification in complex trauma. In addition to counseling, Mariah has also worked in case management and has a unique perspective behind resource utilization. She has worked on countless projects in the community to promote mental health awareness. Mariah believes in advocacy for her clients as well as the mental health field, and hopes to promote acceptance and decrease stigma related to mental health and mental health treatment.
Mariah takes a person centered approach with her clients and believes in meeting the clients where they are. Mariah hopes to empower her clients by giving them a safe environment to explore and learn more about themselves without judgement. She sees the importance in looking at the whole picture when working with a client. Mariah hopes to create rounded goals to promote long term success, and help the client feel more balanced overall. She uses solution focused and cognitive behavioral interventions to help clients build a tool box of skills that can help them cope with daily life. Mariah wishes to help her clients reach their full potential, while hopefully making them laugh once in a while during the process.

Jami Jacobson, MA, LMHC is a psychotherapist at Talkiatry. She achieved her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of New Orleans in 2014, and her Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling and Wellness from New York University in 2017.
Jami has experience as both a mental health professional and as a social worker in a variety of settings in New York City. She has worked with individuals, families and the LGBTQIA+ community in hospitals, educational training centers, community outreach and housing programs, and family services.
Her specializations include treating Phobias, Trauma, and Anxiety Disorders: specifically Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety and Social Anxiety. She utilizes techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She has also completed Phase One training in Brainspotting, which specializes in addressing traumas in the subconscious and unconscious mind.
Jami believes therapy should be a wholistic approach that incorporates both the body and the mind. She has a warm demeanor and seeks to create a safe, comfortable, and judgement-free zone, personalized for each client's unique needs. She seeks to educate her clients on the ties between feelings, thoughts, and behaviors, as well as how our environment and our past can have an influence on our day-to-day lives.
