Alexander Wittenberg, DO

Dr. Alexander Wittenberg is a board-certified adult psychiatrist. He offers highly individualized and empathic treatment with a primary focus on medication management. In addition, Dr. Wittenberg may recommend the addition of a therapist as part of your treatment plan.
Dr. Wittenberg aims to create a collaborative, patient-centered, and non-judgmental treatment environment to help foster the development of a meaningful therapeutic relationship. As chief resident at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, he gained additional experience working in an outpatient setting and helped manage patient care in one of the busiest clinics in New York City.
Dr. Wittenberg has expertise in treating numerous mental health conditions, including depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, trauma and stressor-related disorders, and OCD. He is also devoted to a holistic approach because he understands that good health includes relief from symptoms and a sense of overall well-being. To reach one's goals, he encourages the discussion of mindfulness, self-compassion, exercise, nutrition, and interpersonal relationships.
He received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University, majoring in Human Biology, Health, and Society. He then received his medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine where he was a member of the Psi Sigma Alpha Osteopathic Honor Society.
Triston Wong, MD

Dr. Triston Wong is a board-certified adult psychiatrist who emphasizes a collaborative approach and strong therapeutic alliance in the treatment of psychiatric conditions.
Though his practice focuses on medication management, Dr. Wong advocates for a holistic approach to treatment. He may incorporate elements of various psychotherapies, including supportive, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), and insight-oriented therapy. At times, Dr. Wong may believe that additional therapy is needed for the best outcome and recommend that you bring a dedicated therapist into your care team.
Dr. Wong completed his undergraduate studies at Tulane University. He received his medical degree from Louisiana State University New Orleans School of Medicine, then completed his residency training in general psychiatry at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Wong has experience working with patients of widely varying backgrounds and socioeconomic statuses. He works primarily with adult patients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief.
Lindsay Works, DO

Dr. Lindsay Works is board certified in Psychiatry as well as Addiction Medicine.
Before joining Talkiatry, Dr. Works was a staff Psychiatrist at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital and the clinical consultant for substance abuse treatment at Fort Campbell, KY, providing patient care in an inpatient and outpatient setting. After completing 8 years of active duty service, Dr. Works honorably left army service at the rank of Major.
Dr. Works received her DO from Rocky Vista University in Colorado. She completed her internship and psychiatry residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
Amanda Wright, MD

Dr. Amanda Wright is a board certified adult Psychiatrist who has been in practice for ten years. Her practice offers in-depth evaluations for new patients, personalized medication management, and supportive and motivational therapy within 30-minute follow up visits. Dr. Wright’s professional interest is in mind- body wellness; she believes in psychotropic medication management as one of the tenants of overall wellness and also recognizes that non-medicinal interventions such as psychotherapy can enhance patients’ ability to reach their full potential. To that end, if Dr. Wright feels you would benefit from working with a therapist in conjunction to medication management, she welcomes collaboration with your therapy provider.
Dr. Wright is a graduate of The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio where she also completed her Psychiatric Internship and Residency training in 2013. From 2013 through 2022 she practiced Psychiatry in Louisiana. While practicing with Ochsner Health System, Dr. Wright was recognized locally (within her practice region) as “Provider of the Month” and later, “Provider of the Quarter” for the larger system of Ochsner. These awards were based primarily on patient feedback and highlight her warm and open approach as well as her genuine care for each patient’s best long term outcomes.
In 2022, Dr. Wright and her family moved back to her home state of Texas where she has been practicing both in- and outpatient Psychiatry within a hospital system in the Rio Grande Valley. The broad scope of her professional experience lends itself to working with a variety of Psychiatric issues ranging from mood to anxiety spectrum disorders. Dr. Wright looks forward to returning her focus to outpatient Psychiatry and providing compassionate, individualized care for those seeking treatment.
Zeshen Wu, MD

Dr. Zeshen Wu is an ABPN board certified psychiatrist with more than 10 years of experience. He completed his undergraduate studies at University of Texas at Austin, followed by medical school at University of Texas Medical Branch. He completed residency in psychiatry at Dell Medical School in Austin.
Dr. Wu focuses on effective and safe medication management as well as supportive and psychodynamic therapy in his practice. He likes to focus on a gentle, collaborative, and patient-centered approach. He specializes in forming individualized pharmacological treatments as well as taking time to explore stressors and psychological issues to achieve complete and comprehensive care.
Dr. Wu had previously served as assistant professor of psychiatry at UTHealth McGovern Medical School in Houston and has been involved in many years of teaching and mentorship. At UTHealth, he also served as clinical faculty in one of the nation’s largest inpatient psychiatric campuses and is experienced in treating a wide range of adult mental illnesses including mood disorders, anxiety, OCD, and ADHD.
Jennifer Wygant, DO

Dr. Jen Wygant completed her residency training in general adult psychiatry at the University of Michigan and received her medical degree from Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine. However, she took a non-traditional path to medical school. She earned her undergraduate degree in nursing at Northern Michigan University where she also did Army ROTC and competed on their cross-country ski team. After graduation, she went on to work as a nurse in the Army and compete on the US National Biathlon Team.
During her training, Dr. Wygant gained extensive experience treating a wide range of diagnoses with particular emphasis on PTSD, anxiety and depression in diverse populations, including college students, LGBTQIA+ individuals, perinatal individuals, Veterans and those with socioeconomic disadvantages.
Through her work as an Army nurse, lifestyle as an elite level athlete, and training as an Osteopathic physician she has developed a holistic and compassionate approach to providing care as well as an understanding of challenges unique to athletes and Service members. She integrates multiple types of therapy into her medication management appointments and collaborates with patients to form an individualized and empowering care plan that aligns with their goals and priorities.

Megan Wynne, MD

Dr. Megan Wynne is board certified in adult psychiatry and completed fellowship training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry (Psychosomatic Medicine). She has been in practicing psychiatry since 2006.
Dr. Wynne completed her medical degree at Drexel University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, her psychiatric residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA and her consultation/liaison psychiatric fellowship at Long Island Jewish Hospital in Queens, NY. She continued to work in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry at North Shore Hospital in NY, before working for nine years at Philadelphia Veterans Administration Hospital as a staff psychiatrist and associate at the University of Pennsylvania University Hospital. During this time, she worked closely with patients struggling with Traumatic Brain Injury, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Depression and Anxiety. She acted as an attending psychiatrist in training medical students, psychiatric residents and fellows. Following a move to New Zealand, she worked as lead psychiatrist for Te Puna Waiora, Maori Mental Health team (Indigenous Person mental health clinic) at Counties Manakau District Health Board. She worked with multiple patients facing cultural challenges, as well as psychosocial stressors (poverty, family fragmentation, poor education). During this time, she worked within the indigenous system of mental health, which treats not just emotional or physical issues for a person, but spiritual and familial as well. She has incorporated this into her treatment approach for all patients.
Dr. Wynne has always believed that medication must be used in conjunction with psychodynamic therapy, and medical and social supports to most appropriately treat a patient. She offers 30-minute sessions consisting of medication management and brief therapeutic support. She specializes in treating victims of trauma, medical comorbidity.
Adeeb Yacoub, MD

Dr. Yacoub received his medical degree from Alexandria University and completed his psychiatry residency at Stony Brook University Hospital. He is double board certified in both general adult psychiatry and consultation & liaison psychiatry with over 20 years of clinical experience. After serving as chief resident, he joined Stony Brook University and became Associate Professor in clinical psychiatry.
During his tenure at Stony Brook, Dr. Yacoub was director of the ECT service treating many patients with complex psychiatric disorders which include- treatment resistant depression, severe bipolar disorders, psychotic disorders, anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder and post traumatic stress disorder. He also served as director of the medical student psychiatry clerkship where he received numerous teaching awards like Alpha Omega Alpha and Aesculapius Award for Excellence in Medical Education.
Dr. Yacoub is an excellent diagnostician with expertise in complex mood disorders, psychotic disorders, interventional psychiatry, and advanced psychopharmacology. He has multiple publications and abstracts presented. Dr. Yacoub focuses on the interconnectivity of the mind, body, and soul. His care is only exceeded by his vast medical knowledge. In addition to medication management, he is proficient in supportive and interpersonal psychotherapy. He has treated adults, geriatric patients and diverse populations including but not limited to LGBTQ+ and veterans. He is dedicated and empathetic to all his patients.
Fang Yang, MD

Dr. Yang is board-certified in both general psychiatry and addiction psychiatry, and she holds a Ph.D. in neuroscience.
Dr. Yang received her medical degree from the Medical School of Nanjing University in China. She went on to complete her Ph.D. in Neuroscience at the State University of New York in Buffalo, followed by several years of neuroscience research at Tufts University and Columbia University. She had completed her psychiatry residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston – McGovern Medical School (UTHealth) and the addiction psychiatry fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. After completing her training, Dr. Yang worked as a general and addiction psychiatrist at the Mental Health Clinic, Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center at Houston. She also held an academic position at Baylor College of Medicine, supervising medical students, residents, and physician assistant students.
She is specialized in treating patients with a history of depressive disorders, bipolar disorders, anxiety, substance use disorders, ADHD, and trauma-related disorders. Dr. Yang’s practice focuses on medication management and she incorporates supportive therapy and motivational interviewing, striving to build a strong therapeutic relationship to help patients achieve their goals.
Virginia Yates, MD

Dr. Yates is a board-certified Adult Psychiatrist. Her practice focuses on medication management. Typically, she offers this in conjunction with supportive therapy in 30-minute follow-up visits. However, occasionally Dr. Yates may believe that additional therapy is also needed and ask that you bring a therapist into your care team to provide the best outcome.
Dr. Yates received her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in San Antonio and has over 20 years of experience as a physician. She completed residencies in both Psychiatry and Family Medicine. She served a full career in the US Army to includes combat tours as a physician with a focus in her later military career as a psychiatrist serving with an inpatient addiction rehabilitation team. Since military retirement, her psychiatric work has included general and geriatric psychiatry. She maintains her primary care skills with medical missionary work in Central and South America and Africa.
Jennifer Yen, MD

Dr. Jennifer Yen is a double board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist who has practiced in a variety of settings, including private, community, and academic medicine. She obtained her medical doctorate and general psychiatry residency at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston before completing her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. She is currently a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine and has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications on pediatric mental health. Dr. Yen is also a Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and has been on the editorial board of Clinical Psychiatry News.
Dr. Yen believes in a collaborative treatment approach that includes use of pharmacology, therapeutic interventions, and support networks. While versed in a broad range of mental disorders, she is most passionate about anxiety, depression, minority mental health, and acculturation and intergenerational conflicts. She enjoys finding creative ways to address ongoing treatment issues, and utilizes digital media in the treatment setting.
Wendy You, MD

Dr. Wendy You (they/them/their) is a Board-Certified adult psychiatrist. Dr. You focuses on medication management in the setting of 30-minute follow-up visits in conjunction with psychoeducation and therapeutic techniques. They received their medical degree as well as their psychiatry residency training from Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, IL. Special interests include mental illness in the setting of co-occurring medical illness, the spectrum of bipolarity, and borderline personality disorder.
Dr. You believes that a collaborative approach with the patient yields better outcomes and likes to work with patients to assess their personal preferences and goals for treatment. In an effort to promote the use of medications that are both effective and safe, Dr. You prefers to avoid the use of controlled substances whenever possible.
As a first-generation descendant of immigrants, Dr. You has insight into the potential challenges of addressing mental illness in other cultural settings. They also aim to provide care that affirms LGBTQIA+ identities and neurodivergence. Their interviewing style often incorporates humor, and they will probably ask you about your pets.
Michelle Zaydlin, MD
